Global Open-source AI Challenge Competitor Participation Agreement

1. The GOAI Challenge is hosted by the Hangzhou Open Source Artificial Intelligence Foundation. Specific operations, technical support, competition execution, review organization, resource distribution, and other matters may be jointly carried out by the Challenge Organizing Committee and its authorized partners.
2. This Agreement applies to your use of the GOAI official website, registration portal, account center, work submission, in-site messages, Token / compute voucher collection, competition notices, material downloads, media and partnership portal, and other services.
3. The Challenge is open to developers worldwide, open-source project teams, university students, research teams, enterprise AI technology teams, AI startup teams, and developer communities. For participation information involving overseas teams, the Challenge may provide Chinese and English support.

1. You may register or log in to an account through your mobile phone number, email address, or unified identity authentication methods supported by the Challenge in the future.
2. You shall provide information that is true, accurate, complete, and timely, including but not limited to your name, country or region, mobile phone number, email address, preferred track, team information, project materials, and the like.
3. You shall properly safeguard your account, password, verification code, login Token, and other identity credentials. Losses caused by your voluntary disclosure, sharing of accounts, or improper safekeeping shall be borne by you.
4. Without the written consent of the Challenge Organizing Committee, you shall not transfer, lend, rent, sell, or otherwise allow others to use the Services through your account.
5. If you discover that your account has been stolen, abnormally logged in, or poses a security risk, you should promptly contact the Challenge Organizing Committee for handling.

1. The Challenge registration portal may use external forms. After clicking "Register Now," you may be redirected to a third-party or Challenge-designated form page to fill in registration information.
2. Registration may not require login; functions such as work submission, account center, Token / compute voucher collection, and message notifications may require registration or login before use.
3. The project information, technical proposals, code repositories, Demos, documents, open-source licenses, videos, images, team member materials, and other content you submit shall be true, lawful, and complete, and shall not infringe upon any lawful rights and interests of third parties.
4. You shall ensure that your participating project does not involve intellectual property, data compliance, security risks, illegal or non-compliant content, or other issues that may affect eligibility to participate.
5. Whether the same participant, the same team, or the same project may register repeatedly shall be subject to the official rules of the Challenge, track descriptions, and announcements of the Organizing Committee.
6. Schedules for registration deadlines, work submission, review, semi-finals, finals, award ceremonies, and the like shall be subject to the latest announcements on the GOAI official website.

1. The GOAI Challenge encourages participating projects to open their code, models, tools, data processing workflows, deployment documentation, and technical descriptions.
2. You shall clearly specify the open-source license used by the project, third-party dependencies, commercial APIs, model services, data sources, and open-source boundaries.
3. You retain the intellectual property rights you lawfully enjoy in the works you submit. Unless you separately authorize otherwise, the Challenge will not acquire ownership of your works because of your participation.
4. For purposes of competition display, review, publicity, media coverage, case collections, official website display, roadshow materials, and dissemination of results, you agree that the Challenge Organizing Committee may, within a reasonable scope, use the project name, team name, project introduction, Demo screenshots, demonstration videos, public repository links, and public display materials you submit.
5. If the works you submit involve third-party rights, confidential information, trade secrets, personal information, or restricted data, you shall obtain lawful authorization on your own and bear corresponding responsibility.

1. Challenge review will comprehensively assess technological innovation, open-source contribution, commercial / social / research value, completeness of the proposal, Demo operability, and the project's long-term growth potential.
2. Review results, shortlist, winners list, award distribution, resource support, Token / compute voucher collection and usage rules shall be subject to official announcements of the Challenge Organizing Committee and related rules.
3. Winning teams shall complete identity verification, agreement signing, financial information submission, compliance review, and other procedures as required by the Organizing Committee. If relevant procedures are not completed as required, the Organizing Committee has the right to suspend or cancel awards, prize money, or resource distribution.
4. Resources such as Tokens, compute vouchers, cloud resources, mentor guidance, industry matchmaking, media exposure, and open-source community support may be provided by partners. Specific quotas, durations, scope of use, restrictions, and expiration rules shall be subject to the actual distribution instructions.

You shall not engage in the following acts when using the Services:

1. Submitting false identities, false teams, false projects, false open-source repositories, or false supporting materials.
2. Infringing upon others' intellectual property rights, trade secrets, personal information rights and interests, portrait rights, reputation rights, or other lawful rights and interests.
3. Uploading, publishing, or disseminating content that violates the laws and regulations of the People's Republic of China and the country or region where you are located, public order and good customs, social public interests, or the rules of the Challenge.
4. Undermining fairness in the competition through traffic manipulation, attacks, cheating, malicious registration, bulk accounts, impersonation in participation, or similar means.
5. Accessing, interfering with, attacking, scanning, or testing the systems of the Services or partner systems without authorization.
6. Interfering in any way with Challenge review, competition operations, registration order, or the normal participation of other contestants.

If you violate this Agreement or the rules of the Challenge, the Organizing Committee has the right to take measures as appropriate, including reminders to make corrections, function restrictions, cancellation of registration eligibility, cancellation of review eligibility, cancellation of award eligibility, recovery of distributed benefits, suspension, or termination of accounts.

1. The Challenge will use reasonable efforts to protect non-public project materials submitted by participants.
2. Due to review, competition organization, resource distribution, technical support, compliance review, and other needs, necessary personnel among Organizing Committee staff, judges, mentors, technical service providers, and partners may view relevant materials within the scope of authorization.
3. Judges, mentors, partners, and staff shall use participating project materials only for competition-related purposes and shall not disclose, sell, disseminate, or use them for their own business activities to unrelated third parties without authorization.
4. Information that you actively publish publicly, submit to public repositories, publicly demonstrate, or display in roadshows does not fall under the rules for protection of non-public materials.

1. If any datasets, sample data, test data, industry materials, API data, or other non-public materials are provided by the track organizer or the Organizing Committee, participating teams shall use such materials solely for the purposes of developing, debugging, testing, submitting, and presenting their entries for this competition, and only to the extent necessary for such purposes. Participating teams shall not use such materials for any purpose unrelated to this competition.
2. Participating teams shall properly safeguard all data and access credentials provided by the track organizer. Participating teams shall not, nor assist any third party to, engage in any of the following activities:
   • Download, copy, capture, store, transfer, disclose, sell, lease, exchange, share, or otherwise provide the data to any third party without authorization;
   • Use the data for commercial projects, non-competition projects, commercial model training, general-purpose model training, public dataset construction, or any other unauthorized purpose;
   • Obtain or use data beyond the authorized scope through reverse engineering, scraping, bulk export, API abuse, or other improper means;
   • Disclose original data, identifiable samples, sensitive fields, or any data content that may be restored or re-identified in code repositories, papers, demo materials, promotional materials, social media, open-source projects, or any other public channels;
   • Circumvent account permissions, access controls, watermarking, usage limits, logging, auditing, or other security measures;
   • Engage in any other conduct that may result in data leakage, misuse, infringement, or damage to the legitimate rights and interests of the track organizer, the Organizing Committee, or relevant rights holders.
3. Participating teams shall be responsible for managing the conduct of their team members, collaborators, and any individuals who use the relevant accounts or access credentials. If any data leakage, infringement, commercial loss, or other adverse consequence is caused by improper storage, unauthorized use, use beyond the authorized scope, or unauthorized disclosure of the data by a participating team, the participating team shall bear the corresponding responsibility.
4. The Organizing Committee and the track organizer reserve the right to conduct necessary security audits, usage logging reviews, and risk checks on data access, API calls, usage records, and submitted materials for the purposes of competition management and data security. Participating teams shall cooperate with such reviews and checks.
5. Upon the conclusion of the competition, withdrawal of a team, termination of eligibility, or upon request by the Organizing Committee or the track organizer, participating teams shall immediately cease using the relevant data and, as required, delete, return, or destroy the data and all copies thereof. Participating teams shall not continue to retain or use such data.
6. In the event of any violation of this clause, the Organizing Committee reserves the right to take measures including, but not limited to, restricting data access, requiring rectification, disqualifying the team from the competition, canceling evaluation results, recovering awards or benefits, and revoking award eligibility. If any loss is caused or any violation of applicable laws or regulations is involved, the Organizing Committee and the track organizer reserve the right to pursue legal liability in accordance with applicable laws.
7. The specific scope of data access, access methods, usage period, technical restrictions, audit methods, and post-competition handling requirements shall be subject to the official notices issued by the Organizing Committee and the track organizer.

1. Due to system maintenance, server failures, cyberattacks, third-party service abnormalities, force majeure, policy adjustments, or changes in competition arrangements, the Services may be changed, interrupted, or terminated.
2. The Challenge will use reasonable efforts to notify you in advance or in a timely manner of important changes, but does not guarantee that the Services will always be continuous, stable, or error-free.
3. If you stop using the Services, you may apply to cancel your account or delete relevant information in the manner provided on the official website or in the account center, except as otherwise provided by laws, regulations, or competition management requirements.

1. You shall independently judge and bear the risks arising from project research and development, deployment, open-sourcing, commercialization, data use, third-party dependencies, and participation conduct.
2. The Challenge makes no guarantee regarding the stability, security, or availability of third-party services, external forms, cloud services, commercial APIs, open-source repository platforms, payment services, or communication services.
3. Impacts caused by incorrect, incomplete, or overdue updates of information you provide, failure to submit materials in accordance with the rules, or failure to view notices in a timely manner shall be borne by you.
4. For service interruptions, data abnormalities, or competition schedule adjustments caused by force majeure, cyberattacks, system failures, regulatory requirements, policy changes, or other reasons beyond the reasonable control of the Challenge, the Challenge shall bear corresponding liability to the extent permitted by law.

The Challenge Organizing Committee may update this Agreement in accordance with laws and regulations, regulatory requirements, business adjustments, or competition arrangements. After updates, the revised Agreement will be published on the official website, account center, or related pages. If you continue to use the Services after the Agreement is updated, you are deemed to have accepted the updated Agreement.

1. The conclusion, validity, performance, interpretation, and dispute resolution of this Agreement shall be governed by the laws of the People's Republic of China (excluding the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region, the Macao Special Administrative Region, and the Taiwan region of China), without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
2. Disputes arising from this Agreement or the Services shall be resolved through friendly negotiation between the parties; if negotiation fails, they may be submitted to the people's court with jurisdiction in Xihu District, Hangzhou City, Zhejiang Province, where the host of the Challenge is located.
